Gosfield Hall, sunshine and a lovely couple, so I could not have asked for more.  Louise and Danny had a fantastic day and we worked together capturing their day and the best of the venue.  Louise was wearing an amazing dress and the bridesmaids were looking lovely!   Once the bride and groom are back from their honeymoon we will arrange an appointment for them to view a slideshow of the photos and collect their preview book to help them make their final photo selection for their Story Book album.

We caught these location portraits at the last minute on Tuesday morning - it was the beginning of June and these yellow flowers have usually gone by mid-May. Not only that, but an hour after these were taken the heavens opened and it didn’t let up all day!

Mandy and Mark had perfect weather for their big day at Friern Manor last week.

Another change of subject as we shot some publicity photos for children’s entertainers Freckles recently.

It was a refreshing change to be able to use some different portrait techniques to create something out of the ordinary at the studio recently.

Weekends are our busiest time and we made the decision to open the studio on a Sunday and close on Monday some time ago as we enjoy keeping busy.  As usual, we would like to say a big thank you to a few of our previous customers for their kind recommendations, and in particular thank you to Marina and Matt for recomending us to your sister and her partner.  Alex and Neal came to our studio with gorgeous little Lulu, who also had a new passport photo taken and is now ready to go on holiday.

Also it was really nice to seeing Michelle and Martin, who got married at Leez Priory the previous week.  They have collected the preview book and have decided on the album of their choice.

Photographing large family groups is also lots of fun, but sometime challenging when a few under 2’s are part of the group.  Mr and Mrs Poston have returned and we photographed four generations of their family.  Little cousins Genevive and Amelia were both  wearing green and matched great-grandma.

Hayley was looking for modern style photos of her three children and it was my pleasure to photograph them and have fun with a pop band pose.

As spring approaches we seem to become more busy with portraits and makovers.  It was a real pleasure photographing Rachel, the day before her 21st birthday, she was positively glowing.  She brought a few different outfits, but I think my favourite photos were in her prom dress.
