If you are looking for a vintage look we think we can help.  Leila and David had a vintage themed wedding and we aimed to capture it in a natural, unintrusive style, recording the day as it unfolded and capturing all the details and ambience of a lovely day.

Leila and David get married at Mangapp Manor, in the gazebo in the middle of the lake.  The manor is beautifully set in the countryside near Burnham-on-Crouch.

Family portraits and children can be captured in a vintage, “chocolate box” style too by the use of more traditional backgrounds and lighting - quite a difference from the currently popular mode of white backgrounds and punchy colours or black and white. We are happy to do both as each have their merits and it is nice to ring the changes now and again.

Following popular demand we have organised a Baby and Toddler competition for Maldon and surroundings running throughout the month of April. We’ll aim to photograph the entrants without an appointment during the week, but an appointment may be neccessary at the weekend, especially with the wedding season starting in earnest.  We will also be open most Sundays if we are photographing a wedding on Saturday, but we would advise you to make an appointment to be on the safe side!

Caroline and Michael enjoyed a nice fresh spring day for their wedding at St Mary’s Church in Bocking and on to the Fennes Estate nearby for the wedding reception.  Caroline looked amazing, and it was a pleasure beeing part of their day.  Also, a big thank you to Louise Bailey for recomending our services!  

The Fennes is a great location for photography with beautiful outside gardens, and a romantic bridge over the perfectly landscaped pond.   The interiors offer variety in background setting and colour.

It was an absolute pleasure photographing Katie and James’s wedding at St Nicholas church last Saturday.  Having photographed dad’s wedding in  2002 and her big sister’s wedding in 2006 it was really nice seeing everyone again, and the weather was fantastic for them!

A recent survey by the wedding website hitched.co.uk on couples who got married in 2010 has revealed that the photographer was more likely to be a source of dissatisfaction than any other aspect of the wedding apart from the wedding dress supplier.

Should we be worried? No, not at all, as it just underlines the need to engage the services of somebody professional and experienced.

As an established business we seem to receive an increasing number of calls from brides asking for our help with photographing their wedding at very short notice after the friend or relative who was supposed to photograph it is now unable or unwilling to do so!

We are organising a wedding fayre at our studio, working together with our local suppliers, and we’ll be at the studio on Sunday, 20th February, from 10.30am until 3.30pm.

We will have stands from local suppliers featuring Wedding dresses, Makeup, Hair, Flowers and Local venues

Other suppliers will be confirmed in the next week
